Servo arm (indoor)
Double: for two pushrods (two ailerons on a central servo) or two cables (pull-pull).
Different arms: one length per arm, for differential.
Back arm: it also holds the other side of the stock servo horn, for a wider grip, tied on or screwed.
A: from the servo shaft to the linkage hole. The longer the arm, the more the control surface moves for the same servo travel. “Size it” gives the right length.
K: the more the arm is angled, the more the movement on one side exceeds the other.
E: a wider arm is stiffer, but heavier and takes more room.
F: to the diameter of the piano wire, or of the ball link screw.
L: length of the back arm, up to the last fixing hole if there is one.
C: large enough to cover the hub of the stock servo horn, with material around the holes.
D: 0.2 to 0.5 mm larger than the servo screw.
Fixing holes: over the holes of the stock servo horn (H, I, J: distance from the servo shaft), at the screw diameter (G). Without holes, the servo horn is tied on.
B: 1.5 mm for 3D printing (PLA), 1 mm for CNC cutting in carbon.
